Mom (Granny to the kids) and Peppy went everywhere together. Errands, walks, porch sits, all of it. He had a love-hate thing with the grandkids at first, mostly because they wouldn’t stop pulling his ears! Once they got older and learned better, they all made peace, and he’d sneak treats from them like nothing ever happened.
Granny was so brokenhearted when Peppy left us. She always said she’d see him again someday. We believe she was right. In our hearts, they’re together now, walking like they used to, Granny talking everyone’s ears off and Peppy trotting along, patient as ever.
Love you, Peppy. Keep Granny company for us. We miss you both.
